Full Circle 41

I am so lucky to have a wonderful blog friend by the name of Abra.  She very generously uses her Ancestry account to look up families for me!

She found the family tree for Hulda and left a message for the tree holder.

Photo Number 759Hulda Brennin and sister Buggy Wheel Antiques

I heard from a relative in California.

Thank you for your response to my reply as a relative of Hulda. It is always a pleasant surprise to hear from someone who has discovered old photos of a relative. I will gladly share the photo with others. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

I mailed the photo to California.

Hi Connie,

I received the photo of Hulda Brennin and her sister, Anna, today. Appreciate all your interest and efforts in helping to find the families of lost photos.

Margaret ( Hulda’s Great Niece)

Thanks to links found by an anonymous commenter and Abra another Forgotten Old Photo goes home.

Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

  1. Connie: I am so happy to be part of this. It warms my heart to help someone with their ancestry and I would love having the same done if someone came across something for me. :-). Seems a shame we have to find these forgotten photos in the first place, but given the number of blogs I've come across with old photos, there are a lot of them. I wish I could help them all, but I am dedicated to you, my blogger buddy-turned-friend. I appreciate what you do for others! You are truly one-in-7 billion!!

LOL Iggy! You are pretty darn magical in finding people, too. Plus, it's the insight given by you and others that helps me know where to look, such as the picture of Howard Ellsworth. I don't know if I would have thought of that being a middle name, but that is how I found him. Lokking for more responses this week!!

  5. What a beautiful photo and what a happy ending! I love old photos I think because I have so few of my family. There were many but when my Mother died my step-father threw everything away. It still hurts...my photos growing up, my heritage, my relatives that I adored who are no longer around so when I see these photos find their family it makes me VERY happy! Thanks for having this blog! Who knows...maybe one day I'll see one of my relatives posted! (Although they were from Northern, Il. and the pictures were thrown out in Arkansas or even burned maybe...I'll never know.)
