I always enjoy a beautiful barn. I bet the owner was very proud of this beauty.
This is a Real Photo Postcard from 1914 to 1917.
This is the Tobias Midbo Barn. There are piles of something(Straw?) or hills in the background. I wonder where this photo was taken?
I will take a wild guess and guess some place out east like Vermont. Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)
Update from Iggy:
I think this is Tobias O. Midboe (Aug, 1878-1961) and his wife Margit Sondreal (1891-Unknown) married June 23, 1915, living in Newburgh, Steele, North Dakota.
Update:
This photo went Full Circle 34 on November 21, 2011.
What a great barn!
ReplyDeleteThose folks in the photo are dressed pretty warmly.

He is shown (about halfway down) this family tree:

Shows lots of living offspring.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is a neat barn. It must have been cold as everyone is all bundled up while getting the horses, or mules, ready to go.
ReplyDeleteThis photo has been claimed by a Grandson of Tobias. I am mailing the photo off in the morning:)
