This photo was not marked with a name. There was no photographers name or mark. Guess what? You are never going to believe this! Someone recognized this photo and contacted me by email..they believe it is their Grandmother Julia. They emailed me a photo of their Julia. Have a look at the photo below.

Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)
Update: I believe it is a match also and I will mail it out in the morning:)
This photo went Full Circle on November 30, 2010. You can read about it at Full Circle Number Thirteen!
That definitely looks like a match to me. Something in the eyes is absolutely there in both photos. The smile is the same as well although the angle of the chin and how she is facing the camera gives one a slightly downward tilt.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a match to me...The eyes have it :) Fascinating website. Just stumbled upon it. Wonder if anyone does this in the UK? Thanks again
ReplyDeleteExcellent, my friend...I really love those photos...I´m also in the area of visual art.

ReplyDeleteYes, I believe they could be a match too.
ReplyDeleteWow, another full circle and this one from out of the blue! I found the picture of my Grandmother with the same hair-do as the first picture - it is her college yearbook picture dated 1930.
Wow, that is a totally awesome match!
ReplyDeleteYes from me too and incredible that the right person saw this!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe you have a winner!
ReplyDeleteGoosebumps! I was dreaming of a day where someone would randomly find a photo with no name and know it was their family member. What a magical feeling that must be! The eyes and smile (especially the teeth) match. I looked Ms. Julia up, and it appears she was married by 1930 (census), with an almost 3 year old child, so I am guessing the older Julia photo could be an engagement/wedding photo or an 18th birthday photo. She appears to have slimmed down some in her later photo--it almost reminds me of the "Glamour Shots" that were very popular 10-20 years ago. I can't wait to hear more about Julia's life!! ~Abra
ReplyDeleteI really think that's the same person. I love your blog, I'm following you! :)

Sometimes people from other parts of the world or time can look similar. What do you do if there are two claims of the same photo and they both produce matching photos of their own?
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Totally a match!
ReplyDeleteRin, Great question..the first one gets the real photo the second one gets a CD with a digital image..it happened with one of the previous full circles..Full Circle Number Eight. :)
