I believe Dean R Watson died fairly young but not before having Dean R Watson, Jr.

..and there... frustratingly enough, the trail goes cold. Wheeler (b. 15-Jun-1885 and d. 15-Nov-1972 in Red Oak, Iowa) when she was 18 years old on 04-Nov-1903 in Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa. The groom's parents were A.W. Watson and Sarah E. Brown. The bride's parents were Augustus Wheeler and Amanda Saphrona Mccombs (Aunt Frona).

Fred and Grace Wheeler had Helen Watson (1906), Dean R Watson (1909), Margaret L Watson (1910), Mary J Watson (1911), and 87 year old Augustus D Wheeler living with them in 1930.

There was another Grace Wheeler. The United States Census, 1920 shows an 8 year old Grace Wheeler, living in Montgomery County, Iowa, born about 1912 to Emmett Ervin and Maud E Wheeler. She had two older siblings at that time, Lyle F Wheeler (15 years old) and Gladys Wheeler (11 years old). Don't those names sound familar?! :) Emmett Wheeler's (b. Jun 1894) mother appears to be an Amanda Wheeler.

If someone has time - perhaps they can sort out the Wheeler family - starting with Augustus Wheeler and Amanda Saphrona Mccombs (or Augustus' father) and determine the relationship for Emmett.

I'm a little confused by the "grandchildren" labeling - especially for Fred - Perhaps these children are Fred and Grace's children, Helen and Dean (which would work age-wise) - if this picture was taken about 1910-ish.Intense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-709859977882917592011-02-06T07:23:12.740-06:002011-02-06T07:23:12.740-06:00Oh, she's adorable!
