We are producing a book documenting Black and White school experiences in Loudoun County, Va. The book covers the period from Reconstruction through the 1960's and deals with segregation and its affect on Black and White school education. I'd like to use the image on your web site at https://lh6.ggpht.com/-_JL2BKhLIoA/Tj9Z9rLgeGI/AAAAAAAAMXk/d36qUekcQOs/s1600-h/Consolidated%252520school%252520district%252520Dorset%252520Antiques%25255B14%25255D.jpg It's an image of a horse drawn school hack and I'd like to include it in the Transportation section of the book. Our records show such horse drawn school hacks were used in Loudoun County, VA in the early 1900's,but we don't have any pictures of them. .

How do I get permission to use that image in our book? The book would include a citation with the image acknowledging the source of the image.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

NathanNathan Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02014088303380056144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-3550441299562689932011-08-22T11:41:31.731-05:002011-08-22T11:41:31.731-05:00Mama told me about riding a buck board to school b...Mama told me about riding a buck board to school behind a horse named "Old Nell."
