His real name is Rudolph. He was the MVP for the Minnesota Golden Gophers Football in 1937.  He was born in 1915 and died in 1988. He married Lucille 1911-2001.  They had at least one child Jeffrey 1950-1954.  He is buried at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis in the same plot as his wife and child.

He played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 1936. He was  a NFL Pro Ball Selection in 1940.  He played three seasons for the Cleveland Rams.  He is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minnesota..  He was born March 2, 1916 and died April 28, 1981.

This is Bill Matheny.  I believe this photo was taken in 1936 when he played for The Minnesota Golden Gophers. 
Bill (William) went to High School in Anoka Minnesota and was an All State Player as a Half back in 1933.
I think he was born December 29, 1916 and died Feb 26, 1999.  His wife was June Butts Matheny 1920-2010 and they had one child Merri.  They owned a business in Anoka for many years.

A beautiful example of a gown worn in the late 1860’s to early 1870’s.  The gown has dropped shoulders and a very full skirt.

Well it is a wedding photo. It is Charles Rae Emch Sept 23 1898 in Nebraska and Died May 17 1977. He married Melvena Feb 22 1918. Melvena Hanson 1901 -1938 They had three children Ceata Edyth, Donald E and Ronald.
Charles married again in 1941 to Lola Mae Forrester.
Charles parents are Nicholas Emch and Rachel Rebecca Torrence.

His parents were Arthur Leonard Berglund and Gina Pikop Berglund.

His siblings were brothers Ralph and Donald and a sister Geneva Arlene “Gen” Berglund Mollerud 1927-2015

As far as I can tell he was not married.

The Maunoloa was a Lake Bulk Freighter built in 1899 by the Chicago Ship Building Company.  In 1945 it was sold to Upper Lakes and renamed Maunoloa II  it was sold for scrap in 1971.

So this photo was taken between 1945 and 1971.

Looks like they are raising the roof on a house, there is a horse and a wagon in the background.  I found the horse grazing in the front yard interesting enough to buy this photo.  It seems strange to see a sidewalk but I suppose some towns had them.

Jan 26 1911  This was taken by H. E. Bartholomew Jan 21 at Hog Town Creek 2 1/2 miles north of Gainsville. We walked out there and ate our dinner on the banks of the creek under a magnolia tree.  We got pretty warm and tired coming home.  We have been down here a month.  We are having a fine time. Eddie and Elsie are here also I think to stay till cold storms are over al the north.  Gainsville is a city of 8,000 Fine town no saloons such friendly people.  We live together in  furnished room.  Take care of ourselves something doing every day.  Elsie and I invited to visit this afternoon all going out to large Stock Farm  miles from here a rig and driver tomorrow thru seated rig.  Mr and Mrs Grays are going too they are old new friends.
