Here are a couple of snapshots from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
Seven kids on a slide see the two ladies peeking around the slide?
Nine kids and two ladies. In the background is a Gas Station and some houses.
Thanks for stopping by.
My school had the same equipment - I see a tether ball pole in the background, and the supports on the far right of the first photo are probably for a swing set - wooden seats suspended on chains. I'm guessing the teeter totter and merry-go-round were behind the photographer. Fun memories.
ReplyDeleteMy guess 1939 - my be mid 1940's, looks like my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the "firestorm" of "it's not safe!" from today's parents.
