Photo Number 2234

This is a snapshot from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

I wonder if those are cottages in the background…just big enough for a bed?
I also wonder if that small fence kept the ducks from smimming in the pond?
Thanks for stopping by.

  1. The name of the community is North Wilbraham, now part of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, a suburb of Springfield.

  2. Those cottages don't seem to be big enough, even for a bed. If there were a pool nearby, I'd wonder if they were changing rooms. But more importantly, I wonder: who was Helen?!

    1. They do look like really small buildings - I've looked for this location in Google without luck. There is a Spec Day Camp on Spec Pond in Wilbraham - and a Camp Holy Cross has been a facility of the Diocese of Springfield since 1930 located on another nearby lake.
