This is a photo from the antique shop in Laporte Minnesota. Dave is known as The Peddler. He bought a whole box of photos at a church garage sale…I bought the whole box from him.
The photographer was Solomon Friedman at Friedman Studio 240 – 242 Cedar Avenue Minneapolis Minn he was at that address from 1908 to 1915.
I wonder if this was a sample photo? I also wonder if the photographer had three little girls? These three little girls will be in tomorrows photo also.
The groom is wearing a short formal jacket with a white bow tie and a flower in his lapel. The bride wears a gown with an open neckline that even shows her ankles. She wears a bridal bonnet with tendrils of vines and flowers. She carries a very large bouquet of roses that are tied with tulle.
The little girls all wear bows in their hair and dresses that look to be of a dropped waist style.
Thanks for stopping by.
Solomon (called Samuel) Friedman

The couple later had another son, Jerome. I don't see any 3d daughter anywhere.
In all the census records, Solomon and Sarah are listed as speaking Yiddish - one might assume this couple in the photo is Jewish?
