"Enlisted in the Navy; served at Naval Training Station, Hampton Roads, Va., to Nov. 11, 1918. Grade: Landsman Quartermaster, Aviation, 103 days. Discharged at Hampton Roads, Va., on Dec. 21, 1918, as a Landsman Quartermaster"

I suspect he was ill -

The 1920-30 US Censuses show them in the Fargo / Moorhead area.

They may have had two sons.  Wilbert and Milton

  1. This is kind of spooky for me - my grandparents were Harry and Edith. Lots of Kruegers out there... I am thinking Harry (might be a nickname for Henry) is about 60-70 years old in this photo?

    2. yes 60 to 70 would be my guess. Someone born about 1890. I wonder if they were just visiting or if Harry was just released?

  3. I know people were more considerate about how they dressed in public in the past...but it seems as if this couple was dressed for visiting...someone else???
