Simon A. (b. 1864 d. 1950) and Martha Sundby (b. 1864 d. 1945) are buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Shelby, Toole County, Montana.  Interestingly, in the same cemetery is a daughter married to a Nels Midboe (this name sounds familar!) She is Selma Mathilda Sundby Midboe, Find A Grave Memorial# 92626901 has an obituary that says her mother's (Martha Sundby) maiden name was Skogstad. Also in the cemetery are a number of Sunby sons.

Oclair Epharim Strand (11 Dec 1896 - 2 Aug 1973) is buried in the First Lutheran Cemetery, Blooming Prairie, Dodge County, Minnesota.
He married Clara Braaten (abt 1903 - 1987?) sometime after 1930 but before 1940.

It is a Cyko Postcard usually used from 1904 to the 1920’s.  I will guess that this is closer to the 1904-1910’s 1916 from the pigeon breasted dresses the women are wearing..

This is a possibility
Joe Ustmo (abt 1886 in Norway - 1967) living in Inkster, Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1930, married to Anna C (1888 - 1980) in about 1916. He immigrated in 1905.

They have a couple nephews living with them in 1930, Erwin Garnet Berdahl (21 Jan 1919 - 31 Dec 1979) and Lawrence Selvin Berdahl (17 Apr 1920 - 7 Mar 1997).

Emil Heinrich\Henry Mueller (14 Dec 1889 - 18 Aug 1981 in Orange County, California) married Leontina Magdelena Winters (11/15/1896 - 01/08/1984) in 1916.

The 1930 US Census shows them living in Rock Rapids, Lyon, Iowa. The town of Parkston, ND was settled by a large Mueller family (the patriarch had 13 children!)

Emil was born in Hutchinson County, SD, for which Parkston is the County seat. His parents were Daniel Mueller and Rosina Klaus.

It is hard to tell if this was a real wedding or one of those old mock up weddings where they carried the shotgun!  I was to an anniversary celebration once where they had a mock shotgun wedding at my grandparents home…as a little kid it was something to see!

I looked at this photo for some time, I think she has some kind of black net thingy on her head. She has a lovely bouquet of flowers.

This is a VITAVA postcard and they were used from 1925 to 1934

There are four Clara Strands buried at the Blooming Prairie Cemetery…your guess is as good as mine which one is correct…and it could be another Clara buried elsewhere.  Although there is a Alfred buried at that cemetery also.

The Iowa, Select Marriages, 1809-1992 about Eugene Mcwilliams says Eugene Mcwilliams, born in Harrison Co., having parents A. W. Mcwilliams and Margaret Kirkle, married Edna Grace Bassett on 7 Jun 1911 in Harrison County, Iowa. In subsequent census records, Grace is noted as Edna.

It is a KRUXO Postcard they were used from 1908 to the 1920’s.  I will guess that this was taken more in the 1908 time frame.  The bride wears a simple blouse which could be pigeon breasted and a skirt.  The groom looks like he is wearing a checkered suit that might be a little large for him.
