Photo Number 1733

This is a Cabinet Card from the antique shop in Duluth Minnesota.

Cabinet Card Lady with huge shouldered dress Duluth

Wm. H. Saul was the photographer at 2034 3rd Ave. Entrance on 112th St New York

This photo was most likely taken around 1895.  That is the time that the “leg of mutton” sleeve was popular.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. She has some curious features. Being from NYC, she will likely be a forgotten forever.

  2. I think she is pretty, it sure is a lot of dress and just to think about ironing it.

  3. Too bad no name was included. I imagine a lot of folks with roots passing through New York would have been interested. Oh, the things we omit, thinking "Everyone knows that."
