Thanks for stopping by.  Do come againSmile

Update from Iggy:
Robert Bruce Hensell (23 Apr 1909 in South Dakota - Dec 1970 in Shasta, California) was the son of Robert and Rhoda L (nee Ross) Hensell. He moved to California before he was 19 and worked in a logging camp. His parents moved to Oregon. The father's Find A Grave Memorial# is 66324651. Robert (Jr.) had two sisters, Lois B (buried with the father) and Marguerite B (Slatterlee and later Steward), and a brother Sherman Scott.

From what I can tell, the Hensell family moved from South Dakota to Canada for a few years (Sherman was born in Canada) and then on to Oregon.

Edgar Elden Babb lived in Milbank, SD. He is listed in the 1916 Canada Census of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. He was there only briefly, and lived in (nearby-ish) Sisseton, Roberts, South Dakota after returning from Canada and drove a milk delivery truck. I assume he was a "neighbor" before the move to Canada - and he might have been the impetus for the Hensell family move to Canada in the mid 1910's
