Photo Number 1339

This is a Cabinet Card from Craig’s Collection.

Will Clark Montana

Meet the handsome Will Clark who had his photo taken at the Genelli Studio at 122 N. Main St. in Butte Mont.

The photo was most likely taken in the 1890’s.  Montana became a State in 1889.  I found reference to the photographer being in Butte from 1890 to 1897 and I think she might have been a woman.

  1. The Clark family was a very well known one in Butte, Montana. William Andrews Clark (not the man in the photo) own a large portion of the Anaconda Copper mine in Butte. He was also a US Senator from Montana. When he died, he was one of the 50 wealthiest men in America.

The man in the photo might be his son, although it's hard to tell -
