I think this may be a four generation photo.
It is a Azo Postcard used during the years 1904 to 1918.
Addressed to Mrs. C. Besserud Lake Park Minn
Mrs. Fagerlid
Mrs. Frydenlend
Mrs. Thompson
Chester Thompson
The gowns are all pigeon breasted so I think this photo was taken 1904 to 1910.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
Update from Iggy: Yes this is 4 generations!
Svanaug Fagerli (Thorstendatter) (c.1835 - c.1930)
Johanne Bjørnsdatter Frydenlund (Thorson) (1861 - 1934)
"Chester's mom" was Annette Celine (Netta) Thompson (nee' Frydenlund) (1890 - 1971)
Chester Palmer Thompson (January 25, 1910 - 1967).
Hard to imagine this photo being forgotten. I would certainly treasure just such a photo.
ReplyDeleteI assume Chester Thompson is the "baby boy" born around 1903-1910...and is with his mom in the background. It's an interesting challenge not knowing any of the ladies first names (or that of their husbands).
ReplyDeleteThis website - shows photos of Svanaug Fagerli (Thorstendatter) (c.1835 - c.1930) and Johanne Bjørnsdatter Frydenlund (Thorson) (1861 - 1934) that appear to match those of two older ladies.

Johanne was Svanaug's daughter. Svanaug had a sister named Anne Besserud who was married to Thor C Besserud (and went by his initials "C T". I assume someone was related to "Chester's mom"!
