This is an old photograph from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
The photographer was Luarry of Alcester S.D.
The bride is seated clutching a bouquet of flowers. She also wears a corsage and a flower in her hair. Her gown is very similar to #1251 and #1252. It must have been a style that was popular in Norway and the design and the color was used here in the United States. The gown is pigeon breasted, has a high collar and is long sleeved trimmed in lace.
The groom wears a three piece suit, a white bow tie and a corsage. He looks like he usually works outside while wearing a hat.
This photo was most likely taken around 1900 to 1905.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
He looks optimistic; she doesn't. I enjoy the close-up scans, too. Thank you for taking the time to do that. It is easier to see the details.
