This is a Cabinet Card from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
The photographer is O. E. Flaten of Cor. 4th and Front Sts. Moorhead, Minn He was at that address in 1900.
The groom has on a suit with a neck tie and a corsage.
The bride’s gown seems to be a darker color. It is pigeon breasted with tight lower sleeves. The upper bodice of the gown is trimmed in embroidery. She wears a corsage and flowers in her hair. She also has a heart shaped brooch on her lacy high collar. I always wonder what color was this dress?
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
She is so pretty...like you, I wonder about the color of that gorgeous dress.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is beautiful. They look no older than children.
ReplyDeleteOle was a busy photographer. Who'd of thought a town as small as Moorhead, Minn would keep a guy so busy!
ReplyDeleteLovely dress. Come to think of it, lovely bride!
ReplyDeleteOh I wish it was red. A beautiful red that would have the stuff shirts mouths dropping open. And then I hope she kicked up her heels and danced.
