Since we are in the midst of a winter storm here in Minnesota I will share photos of a winter storm long ago.
These are all photos from The Tin Ceiling in Park Rapids Minnesota.
It looks like got a fair amount of snow during their winter storm.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
Ah . . . there must have been many options for sledding downhill lickety-split! :-)
ReplyDeleteBut there's to be no sledding until you've had a hearty breakfast!
ReplyDeleteSometimes the prairie snowstorms of the past piled up immense snowdrifts around farmhouses so that for several days the farm families had to climb through second-floor windows in order to get out of and back into their dwellings. Somewhere I still have a 1930's snapshot of one of my teenaged first-cousins climbing out onto a snowdrift from her upstairs bedroom window of her farmhouse on the Minnesota prairie.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed these photos, Connie. Stay safe this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a real winter wonderland...from a safe distance! ;)
