We might as well keep looking at groups of people gathered for a few days.
This is a Real Photo Postcard. A Noko Postcard from the years 1907 to 1920.
A group of seven children and their parents. However the five surrounding the parents look like brother and sisters. The two gentleman flanking the photo..just might be those sisters husbands. What do you think?
This photo is from Memory Lane Antiques in Erhard Minnesota.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
That's a nice family photo. Thanks for sharing it. My guess is that all seven of the younger people are siblings. The three younger males all seem to resemble the "mother" and a couple of the "sisters."
ReplyDeleteI think you are right.
ReplyDeleteActually, I was wondering if the youngest of the girls might be a granddaughter. There seems to be quite an age range between the oldest and youngest of the children.
ReplyDeleteI would go with Jacqi's theory myself. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the young lady is still a daughter, unplanned pregnancies due happen...L
ReplyDeleteI agree that they are all one immediate family. I have a blog with old photos of large families and the often include a child or two born later. I think the two outside men look very much like the others.
ReplyDeleteFun to speculate! :)
