These are snapshots from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
A very happy bride on June 17 1950.
Here she is again with her groom.
Her short sleeved gown has a boat neck which is close to being off the shoulder. She wears a short veil, a single strand of pearls and either gloves with a lacy cuff or a garter on her wrist.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
She sure looks happy. I love her dress.
ReplyDeleteFun, fun photos!
ReplyDeleteI noticed the cuff, too. I think she is wearing gloves.
I loved this series. It's nice to see a smiling bride.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is great. The groom looks very happy as well. Hope it was/has been a wonderful life together.
ReplyDeleteIt was all nerves!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all these wedding dresses through the decades. Nice series idea--so appropriate for this month!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful set of photos! Brides should be wearing their happiness like this one on their wedding day!
