The year must have been about 1936. Shirley Temple and tap dancing was all the rage.
This is a five folder photo arrangement. I could not resist it. I purchased it at The Tin Ceiling in Park Rapids Minnesota.
Here are the photos.
Phyllis Brown was the photographer and she was in business in 1936 in Minneapolis. Some cute little tap dancing girl was lucky to have her photo taken many times.
Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)
Wow that is probably the neatest thing I've seen you post.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute kid!! And you got a treasure to keep!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! And what a neat find!
ReplyDeleteDarling. My mother-in-law has similar images of herself during that time.
ReplyDelete1936? That woman may still be alive...or someone in her family who remembers these poses. Too bad there was no name or even clue of a dance studio.
ReplyDeleteLove this it is a treasure hope someone will see it so it can come full circle.
ReplyDeleteHappy to see full circle 52 made it.
Iwas a tap dancer about this same time. To me she looks about eight or nine. Great set of Photos!
ReplyDeleteDon't you know this little girl was thrilled with this? Each photo is just precious!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those! I hope you find the dancer.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great set of photos! So sad that there is no searchable evidence. :-(
ReplyDeleteI bet some parent was hoping that she would become the next Shirley Temple.
