This lovely lady has barrettes a head band and a braid.  The trim on her dress must have a special name..does anyone out there know what it is called?  From marlu FILET crochet

  1. I can't tell if the trim is crochet or hardanger, but it's quite beautiful.

  2. It looks like file crochet. A system of spaces and solids which make a pattern.
I have done two of a world war I soldier that I copied from one found at a farm sale.
