This is a Postcard from the Antique Mall in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
This is Earl L. H. ( or W.) Miller 2 yrs 8 mths old 1909
That is quite a large bow for a boy…but I do like his curls.
Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)
Well, we know he was born sometime between May 1, 1906 and April 30, 1907.
Okay, I can understand putting "dresses" on boys back then...let's face it they didn't have pampers so I'm sure dresses were easier to "change diapers" but a big bow in the hair? My son when he was that age had beautiful blonde curls and he wore barrettes but only because his older sister (they were only 18 months apart) treated him like her personal "living" doll! LOL!
Terrific picture! Great outfit (okay, not so crazy about the bow, either) but I love how he is standing on that oversized chair.
The Victorian chair is gorgeous. At first I thought for sure it was a girl. A beautiful old photo!
Looks like a cursive W. to me.He's a cutie.
