This was a photo tucked into the back of the Nettie Parks album. It is not marked.
The photographer was AM Marton of Bloomington, ILLS. The photo was more than likely taken right around 1897. I say that because of the frills on the ladies dress and the high collar.
Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)
They look so glamorous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family--so sad there is no name. The little girl is so precious! ~Abra
ReplyDeleteI do love the gentleman's bow tie. They do look like a very lovely family and make for a very striking portrait.
ReplyDeleteThe shape of the border really adds something to this already wonderful photo.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to go out on a limb here and say, could this be Nettie and Wesley with their first born?
ReplyDeleteIggy, The time frame would fit..anything is possible. But why would they leave this photo behind when they took out all the other photos of Nettie? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little girl. She has her mother's eyes.
