Photo Number 257

This is Mr and Mrs William Sprenger, this might be their wedding photo..I bet it was winter!  The lovely bride has some sort of lacy drapey string adorning her hat.  The photographer was Meyers of Watertown, Wisconsin.  I will guess that this is a photo from the 1920's.  She must have been tall, usually the men are seated and the women are standing.
Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

Update from Iggy:
Adella A Schultz SPRENGER, b. 6/28/1900 died 5/26/1991.
Husband was William SPRENGER b. 1/15/1901 d. 2/9/1964. I believe they died in Watertown, WI. ?

  1. That is quite a "get up" she has on... Too bad they didn't include her name.

  3. Wonderful photograph which is made by the setting and the frame just as much as it is by the photograph itself. One fears that such cardboard accoutrements will be lost in the instant digital age.
