Photo Number 209


I like this photo..in the background a lady has an apron on and is carrying a pail, perhaps with cream in it or chicken feed. A little girl has both of her hands held up to her face. I will guess that this photo was taken in the 1940's or 1950's.

  1. It's not often in older photos to see such a candid shot with several people in it. This is really a sweet pic. The apron and pail remind me so much of days spent with my grandmother.

  2. I really like what you're attempting to do here. Bring forgotten photos closer to their place in history. It must be quite satisfying when you make a connection. I haven't had the good fortune of putting names and histories to forgotten shots, but I keep hoping. Fun place to visit.
